شارك أحد النشطاء مقطع مصور للحظة سقوط المروحية، وعلق عليها بالقول: "مقطع فيديو يظهر على ما يبدو إسقاط مروحية روسية فوق خزان كييف"، مشيراً بأن النشطاء أشاروا إلى أن مروحيتين سقطتا إلا أن الفيديو أظهر واحدة فقط.في الوقت الذي انتشر فيه فيديو آخر يوثق جنود أوكرانيون وهم يطلقون صاروخ مضاد للطيران نحو الطائرات الروسية التي كانت متجهة نحو هوستوميل.Video apparently showing a Russian helicopter being shot down, possibly over the Kyiv Reservoir.
